Saruman Narative - "You know Gandalf, why you don't want to lead them into Moria. You know that the Orcs dug too deep and what they unleashed onto the world. An ancient terror the likes of which even Sauron, himself, cannot control....."
Boromir - "What is this new evil to assail us?"
Gandalf, sighing heavily - "A Balrog, a demon of the ancient world. Aragorn, get them out, the bridge of Kazad Dum is near!"
Aragorn - "I will stay and help you fight..."
Gandalf - "Your swords are of no use against this foe!! GO.....NOW....RUN!!!"
The creature loomed, it's wingspan 18 feet from tip to tip. It's height easily thrice that of Gandalf's 6 and a half feet. Smoke billowed from it's body, it's skin appeared to be on fire. It carried a broad sword in one hand the length of a tall oak. A whip, it held in the other, at least twice that. The whip glowed a bright red, as if heated by the flames of Hell itself. The creature roared, a deafening sound, shaking the foundations of Moria as if an earthquake had taken place. Gandalf could feel the heat and wind from the creature's screams. Rocks and debris from the walls of the mountain falling around him.
Gandalf ran onto the bridge, stopping half way, then turned and faced the terror approaching.......
